B.A. (Hons.) French
The B.A. (Honours) French program seeks to cover three key areas of study, i.e., Study of the French Lang through the development of 4 core skills, reading, writing, listening and speaking, the study of the language for specific purposes such as Business French, French for Tourism, Translation, etc. and study of socio-political institutions, literary, historical and cultural movements of the French and Latin-American world. In addition, the Program seeks to develop both theoretical and practical knowledge in each of these fields in an interdisciplinary manner to develop a comprehensive understanding of the complexities of the language and its social, cultural, historical and professional specificities.
Eligibility for Admission in B.A. (Hons.) French
Program Specific Eligibility
Candidates must appear in CUET in any of the following subject combinations:
Combination I: French from List A + Any two subjects from List B1 + Any one subject from either List B1 or List B2 OR
Combination II: Any one Language from List A + Any two subjects from List B1 + Any one subject from either List B1 or List B2
Merit will be based on the best CUET score obtained from any of the above-mentioned combinations of subjects. Candidates who opted for Combination II for admission will be considered only if seats remain vacant after considering all the candidates who opted for Combination I |
