B.A. (Hons.) Social Work

 

B.A. (Hons.) Social Work program is a practice-based discipline that prepares its students for achieving the objectives through interventions in real-life situations, which are dynamic in nature. The program offers individualized mentoring to every student and comprises classroom teaching involving interactive pedagogy and fieldwork practicum. The classroom teaching is directed towards familiarizing the students with interdisciplinary theoretical perspectives, principles and skills required for social work interventions. It aims to develop students’ personalities through the inculcation of democratic, humanitarian attitudes and values.

 

Eligibility for Admission in B.A. (Hons.) Social Work

 

Program Specific Eligibility

Candidates must appear in CUET in the following subject combination:

 

Any one Language from List A + Any two subjects from List B1 + Any one subject from either List B1 or List B2

Merit will be based on the CUET scores obtained from the above-mentioned combination of subjects.
