B.Sc. (Hons.) Geology

 

This program aims to develop an ability to perceive the geological processes, which generally operate at time scales ranging from days to billions of years, with the fundamental premise that the present is the key to the past. It prepares students to develop their logical thinking and communication skills with science-based imaginative perception. The ethical, societal context of applied geology in economic and environmental contexts is the fundamental balance that a geology graduate student is expected to acquire. Propagating their thoughts through presentations and participation in various related societies enhances their cultural- social-national centric thought.

 

Eligibility for Admission in B.Sc. (Hons.) Geology

 

Program Specific Eligibility

Candidates must appear in CUET in any of the following subject combinations:

Combination I: Physics + Chemistry + Mathematics

OR

Combination II: Physics + Chemistry + Geography/Geology

OR

Combination III: Physics + Chemistry + Biology/Biological Studies/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry

Merit will be based on the best CUET scores obtained from the above-mentioned combination of subjects.

Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 30% score in any one language of List A in CUET.
