B.Sc. (Hons.) Zoology
Through this course, the students will be more equipped to learn and know about different human systems, their coordination and control. The Zoology degree program provides a platform to comprehend classical genetics to understand the distribution of other traits among populations, their inheritance, ethnicity and correlate with contemporary and modern techniques like genomics, metagenomics, genome editing and molecular diagnostic tools. This course's practical and theoretical skills will help design different public health strategies for social welfare. The course has been designed to provide in-depth knowledge of applied subjects ensuring the inculcation of employment skills so that students can make a career and become entrepreneurs in diverse fields of aquatic biology, sericulture, apiculture etc. After completing this course, students can contribute as policymakers in wildlife conservation, animal preservation and environment protection.

Candidates must appear in CUET in the following subject combination: Physics + Chemistry + Biology/Biological Studies/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry Merit will be based on the CUET scores obtained from the above-mentioned combination of subjects. Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 30% score in any one language of List A in CUET. |
